2024

16TH CHRISTMAS PARTY FOR THE CHILDREN ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES OF THE CANTON OF ZUG

Welcome to CommunityLinks Switzerland.

CommunityLinks is a non-profit association, created in 2009 by a group of expat families from Zug who wanted to find a way to give back to the local community. Formalised as an association in 2013, CommunityLinks has since grown its efforts to organize a variety of impactful projects and events throughout the year.

Our main project is the annual Christmas Party for the children of asylum seekers living in the Canton of Zug. Over the years, more than 4,000 children and their families have been invited to join in the festivities, enjoying a shared meal, fun games, and a joyful distribution of gifts.

In an amazing, collaborative effort, volunteers of all ages help to make this a successful event. From primary school children creating table decorations and writing greeting cards, to middle schoolers running game stations, along with talented musicians, singers, skilled cooks, and gift wrappers—plus the generous companies that sponsor us—it truly takes a village to bring this event to life.

If you want to join the fun and volunteer, contact us at contact@communitylinks.ch!

This is also a very good opportunity for Corporate volunteering encompassing team spirit and joyful generosity! Bake together, host a Christmas tree sponsoring a child drive, come wrap the gifts as a team, volunteer during the party, set up a donation box at your office, you name it!. Don't hesitate to contact us at contact@communitylinks.ch We are looking forward to hearing from you!

Your company's support can make a significant impact and strengthen community ties.

Help us bring smiles to children's faces by donating CHF 60 to fill up a gift bag for a child. Your generosity makes a real difference, and we sincerely thank you for your support! Donate Here
